Gio Makyo Pulsating, hypnotic sequencer music at its best. Arjen makes a lot of music in this style, but Sonic Identity is just fantastic from beginning to end. Favorite track: Equation Of State.
Emancipators thumbnail
Emancipators Arjen really knows how to create some great sequences. Track 1 almost gets lost with the number of layers but with Stellar Parallax, the essence of 70s analogue is delivered in spades. Another great album and I don't think he has reached his potential yet. Favorite track: Stellar Parallax.

“Sonic Identity” is the eighteenth release on and marks as Arjen's fourth release in 2015 after “CrO2”, “Mens”, and the cassette release of “Sequentem”. Its emphasis on complex polyrhythmic sequencing and extended use of analog synthesizers characterizes a sonic identity that is true to Arjen Schat.

“Scalar Fields” was originally published on YouTube as “Final Sequence Of 2014”.
